ABOUT US
We are Emma & Alex
We’re a married couple who live and breathe travel. As passionate travel agents and digital nomads, we’re all about Disney magic, dreamy cruises, and indulgent escapes made for two.
We are the faces behind Couples Who Travel, and we’re here to help you travel more!

Hi, I’m Emma — co-founder of Couples Who Travel.
Before this, I was a wedding florist, so I get the pressure couples face — juggling family expectations, big emotions, and tight schedules. That’s why I help create romantic escapes that give you space to reconnect — from honeymoons and babymoons to just-because getaways.
When I’m not planning dream trips, I’m a writer, speaker, and author of holistic and spiritual self-help journals and Tarocle decks. You’ll usually find me pulling tarot cards in the woods or journaling by the water — inspired by nature and the art of slowing down.
My bucket list? Machu Picchu. What’s yours?

Hi, I’m Alex — co-founder of Couples Who Travel.
I’m a GB Wheelchair Rugby athlete and independent travel agent, often on the move for work, which means I get to explore the world from both sides — business and pleasure. But nothing beats unwinding on a cruise or soaking up the magic at my favourite place: any Disney theme park.
When I’m not planning our next trip, I’m busy helping clients book theirs — from once-in-a-lifetime honeymoons to unforgettable family holidays. My bucket list? Disney’s Castaway Cay. See you there?
A Selection of Where We’ve Been
On Our Travels

UK
Birthplace of both Emma and Alex, the UK has seen many years of family holidays. From as north as Lossiemouth in Scotland to the tip of Lands End in Cornwall, and most places in-between. Favourite destination for both is their current home of Cheltenham in the Cotswolds.
Emma lived in Adelaide and travelled around Australia in her early twenties. Her favourite spots were The Rocks at Sydney, Swan River and Rottnest Island at Perth, her road trip along Great Ocean road, caving at Naracoorte National Park South Australia and hiking the Blue Mountains in Victoria.
Emma’s first experience of Europe was a school trip to France. Alex has been a traveller to Europe for all of his childhood years, and they regularly travel to Disneyland Paris together. Their most recent trip in Europe was a Mediterranean cruise.

Canary Islands
Alex and Emma’s first ever holiday as a blended family was to Tenerife. The scenery in the Canary Islands is stunning! Known as the sunshine centre of Europe, and each island is said to represent one of the seven chakras of the human body.

Cruising
Emma discovered cruising at the age of 16 and got Alex hooked when they met years later. Cruising is now a family favourite, not only is it accessible, it has some of the most fantastic flavours from all over the world, first class entertainment and is a great way to travel and see multiple destinations in one trip!
Obviously as Disney lovers Alex and Emma have been numerous times to Walt Disney World in Florida, this is Alex’s dream destination to live. California Disneyland is next on their bucket list. Emma’s next dream destination in the USA is Yosemite National Park in California.
Our Story
Blogging & Traveling Abroad
Living in Australia and Florida
Emma lived in Australia before meeting Alex and completing their family. Emma is an an earth child and loves to be near the hills and the water, Adelaide had both for her, “it was a dream location and I would love to return one day”.
Alex’s dream home would be as close to Walt Disney World as possible, preferably Disney’s Golden Oak, so he can “eat all the snacks and be immersed in sunshine, all day everyday”.
Why We Started Blogging
Emma has loved writing since winning a competition as a child and then having her poetry printed in a newspaper and had always wanted to be a journalist growing up.
Alex is a natural researcher and so creating a blog and becoming an independent travel agent was a natural evolution as a couple. Couples Who Travel was born.

Why We Blog
How We Got Started Travel Planning
Our journey into travel planning began as a hobby, helping friends and family book vacations.
Alex then trained as an independent travel agent, recognising we could offer more than just info —we could provide these amazing experiences we were blogging about for others, through personalised travel planning service.
And thus, E & A Holidays was born!
